Tropical Storm Bilos - Culture Vulture

We're in hiding. We heard that a typhoon was coming in - 200km/hr winds and "super-torrential" rain - so we ran.

It turned out that as the weather system approached Taiwan's east coast it moderated to a mere tropical storm. Anyway, we made the best of it.

Eating is one of the best things, ever. There is nothing Team Taiwan can not eat.




This is the head honcho of the stall whose food you see above. He was a highly gregarious individual and insisted that we smoke his cigarettes and take photos of him. It was strange but we obliged. Such a nice chap.

We understand that the storm will pass tonight and we will be on the road again tomorrow
